- Try heat therapy to allay muscle and curtail the muscle jerking (try a heat pad or compression)
- Submerging the forearm in warm water 15-20 minutes quickly alleviates a jerking muscle
- Sufficient hydration before, throughout, and after strenuous exercise is recommended to further forearm spasms
- Daily, eat a salubrious and balanced diet replete with vegetables and fruit
Avoid over-icing the forearm after it spasms it’ll just perpetuate inflexibility and pain. Only ice the forearm for 2 days after it spasms and to reduce any inflammation and swelling. Generally, a forearm spasm is a moderate problem. But if it recurs entailed with muscle cramps then visit a physician to analyze for a neurological illness.
