Neck pain is most often caused by repeated or prolonged movements to the neck’s muscles, ligaments, tendons, bones, or joints.
Neck pain treatment includes applying heat or ice, taking it easy but staying as active as the patient can, and using over-the-counter pain relievers. Some doctors may recommend that a cervical collar is worn to support the neck. Cervical collars may reduce neck pain, but they should only be used for a day or two.
For long-lasting neck pain, you can use the same pain relief measures, people who have chronic pain syndrome and its associated problems, such as depression or drug dependence, may respond to treatment more slowly.
Torn hamstring healing time:
Torn hamstring healing time depends on the severity when there is a full tear the hamstring rolls all the way up the leg and it’s severely painful worse than like breaking a bone those usually take around 3-6 months depending on how bad it is and how quickly the body recovers.
A pulled hamstring takes 4-6 weeks. Patients are advised to stretch it during that time period, at the start it will be really uncomfortable to stretch but it will help heal it faster, also ice is recommended to reduce swelling. Before stretching it is best to use a heat pad to warm up the area it’ll allow the patient to stretch better and prevent further tearing.
