Sciatica has been known only to affect one side of the body.
Symptoms of sciatica are varied depending on the patient however the most common symptoms are:
- A pain that radiates from the back to the legs this pain has been known to feel like an electric shock, this can range in severity.
- Numbness and tingling in the legs.
- Sometimes muscle weakness however this uncommon.
Sciatica treatment is usually not necessary as the pain and the injury heals with time however severe cases may need a specialist’s attention. In some cases a back brace may be needed to help with posture, heat packs can be applied and pain medication can be used to levitate the pain.
